Amalgamated Metals Recycling (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2002 and has survived the odds to be one of the best and largest Metal Recycling Companies in South Africa.

We started our company with only 40 staff members and have grown to 230 staff members across 3 branches. We are buyers of ferrous and non-ferrous. We are known to give the best market related prices.

We are compliant and adhere to all the second hand goods laws and Inspections are regularly conducted by SAPS, Citi-power, Telkom, Eskom, Health and Emergency Department Services, to ensure that no stolen material is traded in. We ensure that we practice safety procedures and precautions in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and to ensure that employees adhere to them.

All our scales are SABS approved and we can weigh up to 60 ton loads. We purchase, unload, sort and separate material on our premises. Our staff provides the best and most professional assistance. Our company prides its self with employees who are knowledgeable and well trained in buying, cutting, sorting and use of machinery like fork lifts, croppers, balers and excavators. We also have a fleet of well-maintained trucks, trailers and both skip bins and hook lift bins, ensuring the efficient and speedy removal of all materials.
